Camp Joy Belize offers a unique Christian camping experience for individuals 13+ with intellectual disabilities and special needs. With a 1:1 camper-to-counselor ratio, our trained staff creates a fun, inclusive environment, fostering growth, teamwork, and community. In addition to our summer camps, we offer the JOY Employability Program, providing job coaching and training for individuals with special needs, empowering them toward independent work. We also run Daily Joy, a weekly recreational ministry that builds relationships and supports growth in a loving environment.

We invite you to join us in prayer for this ministry. Pray that God continues to be glorified through our work and that His people will provide the financial support we need to sustain and grow. Please pray for our counselors, staff, and campers, that God will prepare their hearts for a meaningful encounter with Him.

Volunteers are the heart of Camp Joy Belize. We welcome individuals aged 16 and up who are passionate about serving in a Christian environment. All our counselors and staff are volunteers, and we also seek partners to help with fundraising activities throughout the year.

Camp Joy Belize depends on the generosity of churches, individuals, and organizations to raise approximately $10,000 annually. Donations—both financial and material—help us continue offering this unique camp experience. You can support a camper by sponsoring their fees or contribute to our ongoing efforts to serve persons with special needs and disabilities.

Volunteer

All Camp Joy counselors and staff are volunteers. Do you know someone who would want to volunteer or do you want to volunteer? We need counselors ages 16 and up. All volunteers must be Christians. We also need volunteers/ partners to assist with fundraising activities.

We need financial and material donations. Camp Joy needs to raise approximately $10,000 each year. Funding comes from churches, individuals, organizations, and camper fees.
