Founded in 2014 by Pastors Frankie and Abby Wade, Camp Joy Belize is a ministry of Living Waters Fellowship Church dedicated to serving individuals with special needs and disabilities. We believe that every person is fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image (Genesis 1:27, Psalms 139:14). Our mission is to create a supportive, fun, and inclusive environment, rooted in Christian values. In addition to our annual summer camps, we offer the JOY Employability Program, which provides job coaching and training to help individuals with special needs gain independence in the workplace. We also host Daily Joy, a weekly recreational ministry that fosters relationships and personal growth in a loving, supportive setting.

Summer Camps
Camp Joy Belize provides a unique camping experience for persons over 13 years old, with intellectual disabilities and special needs. It is a Christian co-ed camp geared towards engaging young people to live and work together in a fun environment. We have a one-to-one camper to counselor ratio, experienced staff, and are able to work with a wide variety of ages and abilities.
Daily Joy is a Ministry that has evolved/birthed from Camp Joy Belize that hosts a recreational time once a week where we have the opportunity to serve our special friends who are not in school. During this time our special friends will participate in crafts, games, Bible, educational, and physical activities. Our main objective is to give our friends a place to spend quality time, build relationships, help them grow in unity & love. so they can make an impact in the lives of others for the future.
The JOY Employability Program allows individuals with special needs the opportunity to be employed under the mentoring of a job coach. The purpose of this program is to train and support individuals with special needs with the intention that in the future the job coach can transition out of the workplace and allow the employee to work on their own.
